Shipping Policy
Pioneer Flooring is committed to providing superior service, including reliable and timely shipping. We work with reputable freight carriers to ensure your order is delivered safely.
Our Flat Rate Shipping Costs
- Flat $199 shipping for all orders of 5 boxes or more of flooring.
- Flat $399 shipping for all orders under 5 boxes.
Delivery Time
- All orders are processed on the next business day. If your order includes only “In-Stock for Immediate Delivery” items, it will ship the following business day after processing. For items labeled “Ships within 7 Days,” please allow time for the material to arrive at our warehouse before shipping.
- Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information and the name of the freight carrier.
- For non-UPS shipments, the freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
- Delivery timing depends on the freight carrier once the shipment leaves our warehouse.
- Important: If a responsible adult is not present at the time of delivery or if the carrier cannot reach you to coordinate an appointment, additional shipping and storage fees will apply. Extra charges will also apply for rerouted shipments. Please contact us for rate information.
Small Package Shipments
- We use various carriers, including UPS, FedEx, GXO, and USPS, at our discretion.
- Shipments may require a signature. If you prefer to waive the signature requirement, include “NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED” in the order notes. (Note: All larger LTL freight shipments require a signature.)
Large Order Shipments
- Freight shipments are unloaded curbside; it is your responsibility to move materials beyond this point.
- Delivery personnel are not allowed to enter your home or assist with moving materials.
- Boxes will be delivered curbside only. Ensure someone is available to handle the materials, which can weigh from 30 lbs. for laminate and vinyl up to 80 lbs. for hardwood. If your residence is not accessible by a semi-truck, please select business or service center pick-up.
Damaged or Missing Material
Damaged or lost materials during shipment are rare, but following the steps below will help us replace items promptly.
Damaged Material
- Inspect all materials and sign for your order upon delivery. If you find discrepancies, do not refuse delivery of damaged material. Accept the material, have the driver sign the delivery receipt noting the damage, take photos, and email them to Claims@pioneerflooring.com immediately.
- Notify us of any damage or missing items within 24 hours of receiving your shipment. Damaged items must be available for carrier inspection.
- Check the shipment for correct item numbers and quantities before accepting delivery. Note missing items on the driver’s Bill of Lading. We cannot be responsible for missing items not noted at the time of delivery.
Inspection Guidelines
- Inspect: Check for damaged boxes, underlayment, molding, etc. Accept all material and note any damage on the driver’s Bill of Lading.
- Accept: Do not refuse any part of your shipment. Refusing delivery may delay receiving your flooring and incur additional charges.
- Notate: Document any damage or missing items on the delivery receipt and have the driver sign it. Without notation and driver acknowledgment, Pioneer Flooring cannot issue refunds or replacements.
Remember
- Inspect your materials within the trucking companies’ 30-minute time limit to avoid additional fees.
- Accept all items; refusing will delay your order and may result in extra charges.
- Notate all damages or missing items on the delivery receipt and obtain the driver’s signature.
Additional services, such as lift-gate or inside delivery, may be available through the freight carrier when scheduling your delivery. Any associated fees for these services are your responsibility and may delay delivery.
